I hope you enjoyed the speech that you listened to. I know that some of what you heard may have been difficult to understand, but I want you to try and respond to some of what these important people had to say.
So what you are to do is to pick a poem by Maya Angelou or Dr. King's " I have a Dream" speech. and write about something that you thought was interesting, that you agree with in their speeches. Also, think about something you do not agree with and then say why you do not agree with it. IT'S REALLY EASY TO JUST SAY "BECAUSE' , so think about it before you write.
Today you will write your responses here on line in the blog so that others may read what youhave written and respond to it. If you had problems with the sound write about that. Let me know if you have any questions.Mr. Bianchi

I listened to some of the instrumental music and thought it was good skating music (I'm an Ice Skater learning the sit spin). That's all.
I think that it was a great speach becuase he said that we wont stop till justice is searved! Also that he said how much they have safured.
I think that he was good to do that because everybody could play together
maya's "the thirteens" (white) is kinba scary, it was harsh and sort of perverted. -amihan
i liked "the thirteens" black, it was better, cleaner, and it was sader though- Google @_@
I don't really get what mayas speeches weere talking about. they wee kind of complicated.

I didn't understand Doc. Kings speach it was copmlicated, but i got that he wanted to change segrigation dose any 1 agree?- Google ^__^
I would vote for John McCain, bbbecause he wants to put a gate accross the mexican border, and is not going for immigration.

I think Obama really wants to be a presedint.He looks like perfect for the job.I didnt like the last video or the second last one.I want anyone to be the presedint.If clinton is the presedint then shes the first lady presedent. Mark Nicolas
If I could vote, I would vote for Barack Obama, because he represents many different cultures and sees everybody as one. He is supportive of change (which we desperatly need at the moment)and is supportive of immigration rights, and stopping global warming.
I would also like Hillary Clinton to win, mainly because of her gender, but also becauseshe really thinks about everybody, especially elderly, ill, and babies; even the citizens currently living in other countries. She sees through race, religion, and nationality and actually looks into the heart. She's really not conservative at all, and is open to everyone.
I think Jhon McCain is huge LOSER. He is not supportive of immigration rights, or anything important. He looks like a giant, fat, nerdy, football-playing DORK.
