Greetings! I hope all is well and that you are enjoying school! Today we are going to do two activities. The first activity you will visit two web sites. They are both math sites and the links are below.

As you visit these sites think about a few things: Is it easy to move around the site? Are the games too easy, too difficult or just right for your grade level? What do you think about the graphics? Is there anything else that you would like to comment on concerning the site(s)?
After you have experienced the site, I want you to evaluate it. Review the questions (above) that you read before visiting the site(s) and post a message that evaluates one of the two sites you checked out. Your post will need to be at least one paragraph and it will answer the questions above.

Maya Angelou and Dr. King Speaking

I hope you enjoyed the speech that you listened to. I know that some of what you heard may have been difficult to understand, but I want you to try and respond to some of what these important people had to say. I know we tried this last week, but I think it will work a little bit
this time because I have made some changes.
So what you are to do is to pick a poem by Maya Angelou or Dr. King's " I have a Dream" speech. and write about something that you thought was interesting, that you agree with in their speeches.
Also, think about something you do not agree with and then say why you do not agree with it. IT'S REALLY EASY TO JUST SAY "BECAUSE' , so think about it before you write.
